Shiu Pong College Helps Students in Developing Workplace Skills

From October 14 to November 13, 2025, Shiu Pong College successfully completed the first batch of “Skills Enhancement Scheme for the Workplace” Certificated Course, with 26 students receiving their certificates.

This course was taught by SPC academic staffs who have obtained certificate of “Global Career Development Facilitator”. In designing the curriculum, students’ needs were considered as well as other career planning activities at the University of Macau, aiming to provide course content that is both unique and practical.

The course was met with enthusiastic response from students as soon as it was announced. Over the 10-hour course in five weeks, participants learned the following topics: Employment market and life choice; Self-recognition and career choice; Internship and employment in Macao and Guangdong-Macao in-depth cooperation zone in Hengqin; Safety and health in the workplace; Communication in the workplace.

Finally, 19 master’s students and 7 undergraduates completed the course. “Through this course, I gained deeper understanding of my own needs and current situation, and identified areas where I need to improve.” One student shared personal reflection in feedback.

紹邦書院助力學生提升職場技能

2025年10月14日至11月13日期間，紹邦書院第一期“職場實力證書課程”順利舉辦，26名院生獲得證書。

本課程由獲得“全球生涯規劃師”證書的書院教學人員講授。在設計課程時，既考慮了學生的現實需求，又參考了澳門大學其他的生涯規劃類活動，以期提供兼具獨特性與實用性的課程內容。課程一推出就得到了學生的積極響應。參與者在為期五周、共10個小時的課程中學習了以下內容：就業大環境與人生選擇；自我認知與職業選擇指南；澳門+橫琴合作區的實習與就業；職業安全健康指南；職場溝通。

最終，有19名碩士研究生、7名本科生完成了課程。“在這個課程中我對於自己的需求和現狀有了更深的認識，也知道了自己在哪一方面需要提升和努力。”有同學給出了如上反饋。
