With extensive data in the forms of numbers, graphs and charts, Dr. Chui delineated the evolution and future plans of Macau’s urban development. Besides testifying Macau’s accomplishments, he also laid out the constraints, obstacles and dilemmas facing the present urban renewal projects and future advancement plans.
Dr. Chui assisted the audience to envision a dream of Macau’s future development and called forth their courage to contribute to it. He quoted Steve Job’s words, “Innovation has nothing to do with how much R&D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R&D. It’s not about money. It’s about the people you have, how you are led, and how much you get it.”
