“The Five Love Languages” at Shiu Pong College

Ms. Phoebe Chan, experienced social worker from the United States, was invited to conduct a meaningful workshop on “The Five Love Languages” at Shiu Pong College on March 30, 2016.

Ms. Phoebe Chan is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California, and a member of California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT). She has extensive clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults. In this workshop, Ms. Chan introduced the five basic love languages in interpersonal relationships, on the base of the book “The 5 Love Languages”, and her professional experience. She explained that we need to express our love languages that can be understood by others in order to avoid miscommunication and conflict. This workshop was so practical and interesting that it attracted a full house.

 

紹邦書院傳授“愛的五種語言”

 

2016年3月30日,紹邦書院邀請了一位資深的社會工作者陳麗英女士來給同學們開展了一個名為“愛的五種語言”的工作坊。

陳麗英女士是美國加州註冊專業婚姻家庭心理治療師,現為美國婚姻家庭治療協會的臨床治療師,在輔導兒童、青少年、成年人等方面有多年的經驗。在工作坊中,她通過一本名為《愛的五種語言》的書,結合自己的服務經驗,向大家講解了人與人相處中的五種愛的語言。她的講解讓大家明白,在人際交往中需要運用對方能感受到的愛的語言才能避免誤解與矛盾。而每個人愛的語言都不相同,需要我們的觀察與發現,並用適當的方式表達自己的愛。她還深入淺出地向大家示範了如何在現實生活中運用愛的語言,讓大家受益匪淺,活動現場座無虚席。
