SPC Short Film Production Club never stops self-improvement

In the “UM MEMBERS: WORK TOGETHER TO FIGHT CORONAVIRUS” Short Video Shooting Contest organized by the Student Affairs Office of the University of Macau, SPC Short Film Production Club won the most popular award with its film “Fight Against Epidemic”.

The main purpose of this competition is to convey the spirit of “never stop learning” of UM students through short video. The one-minute film “Fight Against Epidemic”, written and directed by Chan Hong Ieong, Zhou Xiaopeng, Mok Hong Lai, Wong Chon and Ding Weidong, five committee members of SPC Short Film Production Club, shows the positive energy of SPCers. Although there are many difficulties in adapting to online course, SPCers in film still support each other and make unremitting efforts to overcome the challenge.

Short Film Production Club is one of the SPC long-term experiential learning programs, which aims to express the students’ worldview and creativity through film and to convey the spiritual philosophy of the College. Since its establishment, members have produced more than ten films. Even in the midst of the epidemic, they have continued to learn and practice through a variety of methods. Committee members also joined the team of Wong Teng Teng who is a professional director and the advisor of Club to make the film “Fortune Tower” which won the top five awards in the Fifth China Youth Film Directors Support Scheme in September this year. After that, Club members will work with the Student Affairs Office to produce a promotional video for the RC Social Worker Scheme.

微電影社「疫」境自強

在澳門大學學生事務部所舉辦的「澳大人：眾志成城 齊心抗疫」短片拍攝比賽中，紹邦書院微電影社在眾多參賽者中脫穎而出，憑藉作品《疫難而上》獲得了最具人氣獎。

本次比賽主要是想透過拍攝短片的形式向社會各界傳遞澳大人在疫情中「停課不停學」的自覺精神。由紹邦書院微電影社五位內閣成員——陳匡揚、周曉鵬、莫康禮、王俊、丁煒東——自編自導自演的1分鐘作品《疫難而上》，就展現了「疫」境自強的正能量，即使面對疫情期間線上學習的新形勢有諸多不適應，影片中的紹邦人仍能夠互相扶持、不懈努力，最終克服難關。

微電影社是紹邦書院的長期性體驗式學習項目之一，意在通過電影鏡頭展現同學的世界觀與創造力，並傳遞書院的精神理念。成立至今，成員們已拍攝完成作品十余部。即使在疫情期間，仍然靈活運用多種方法學習實踐。由內閣成員協助項目導師黃婷婷導演拍攝的作品《幸運閣》，更在今年9月份榮獲第五屆中國青年電影導演扶持計劃前五強的殊榮。在這之後，微電影社也會與學生事務部一起製作大學書院系統社工宣傳片。
