SPCers celebrated Chinese New Year together

Although many students could not go home for Chinese New Year because of the epidemic, they were still able to feel the warmth from the College.

On January 31, 2022, 30 students who stayed at the College for Chinese New Year’s Eve held a party with College staffs. They had a great time writing Chinese New Year scrolls, playing games, and enjoying delicious food. Rector Yonghua Song and members of the university’s management team including vice rectors also visited SPC to send festive greetings to students. On February 3, despite the cold weather, eight SPCers including students and teachers went to watch the “Fortunate Tiger” 2022 Macau Chinese New Year Parade. They were able to enjoy the unique festooned vehicles, the wonderful performances of different groups and the splendid fireworks display. A student said happily: “People who can’t go back home feel happy. I love SPC!”
