Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the University of Macau: SPC’s seminar on

“Macau Grand Prix under Pandemic”

The 68th Macau Grand Prix will be held from November 19 to 21. To promote this prestigious international event, on November 16, 2021, Professor Patrick CHU of the Faulty of Business Administration was cordially invited to deliver a seminar talk on “Macau Grand Prix under Pandemic”. Professor Chu is a formerly invited contributor of a Hong Kong magazine “Car Plus”.

With a warm welcome and introduction from Professor Benzi ZHANG, Master of Shiu Pong College, Professor Chu introduced the special arrangement for this year’s event. This year, six exciting races will be held: SJM Formula 4 Macau Grand Prix, Sands China Macau GT Cup, Galaxy Entertainment Macau Guia Race, MGM Greater Bay Area GT Cup, Melco Macao Touring Car Cup and Wynn Macau Challenge Cup. He then explained the eligibility criteria to participate in these races. Popular drivers were also introduced, including Charles Leong, Andy Chang, Zhou Guanyu, etc. Besides Professor Chu’s speech, the seminar was interspersed with some classic scenes. At the end, he introduced Macao Grand Prix Museum and E-sports Stadium to participants. These two places can let them experience first-hand the exhilaration of motorsport. Today’s seminar was truly an exciting time for everyone!

澳門大學40週年校慶——紹邦書院舉辦

“疫情下的澳門格蘭披治”講座

第六十八屆澳門格蘭披治大賽車即將在11月19日至21日舉行。為了推廣這項享負盛名的賽車運動，澳門大學工商管理學院朱國權教授於11月16日為紹邦書院主持“疫情下的澳門格蘭披治”專題講座。朱教授是前香港《車王》雜誌賽車版特約撰稿員。

講座先由紹邦書院張本梓院長致歡迎辭。隨後，朱教授介紹本年度澳門格蘭披治大賽車設有的六項賽事，包括﹕澳娛綜合澳門格蘭披治四級方程式大賽、金沙中國澳門GT盃、銀河娛樂澳門東望洋大賽、美高梅大灣區GT盃、新濠澳門房車盃及永利澳門挑戰盃。其後，他講解了這些賽事的參賽資格，並介紹多位著名車手，如﹕梁瀚昭、鄭穎聰及周冠宇等等。講座上播放了澳門格蘭披治大賽車賽事的經典鏡頭。最後，朱教授推薦同學參觀澳門大賽車博物館和電競培訓基地，親身感受賽車運動的精彩和刺激！
