“Impossible Is Nothing”–The 9th English Camp of Shiu Pong College
Shiu Pong College (SPC) organized its 9th English Camp on August 30 to September 1, 2019. With the theme of “Impossible is Nothing”, the two-and-a-half-day camp attracted around 60 SPCers to join.
Being one of our signature programmes, English Camp provides not only English learning opportunities to students, but also valuable chances for them to enhance their personal growth and development by participating in tailor-made character-building workshops, enlightening thematic discussions and excursion to sites in Macau.
A total of 14 working professionals from sectors of architectural, commercial, banking, NGO and international schools, were recruited as volunteer tutors in this camp. A series of activities that covered topics including “Passion”, “Ownership”, “Community” and“Trust” were designed for students to explore and reflect on meaningful life issues, as well as to enhance their whole person development.
Throughout the camp, most of students appeared to be highly satisfied with their learning outcomes, and also the friendship they gained through cross-cultural engagement. Majority of participants said that they look forward to the next English camp.

“凡事皆有可能”— 紹邦書院第9次英語營
2019年8月30至9月1日，紹邦書院以“凡事皆有可能”為主題，舉辦了第9次英語營，吸引了約60名同學參與。
英語營是紹邦書院的特色項目之一，通過工作坊、主體討論及實地探索等精心設計的主題活動，既為學生提供英語學習的平台，也有助促進他們的個人成長。
是次英語營由14位香港的志願者設計及帶領，他們是來自建築、商業、銀行、非政府組織及國際學校等領域的專業人士。他們設計了不同的活動，主題包括”激情”、”擁有”、”團體”及”信任”等，讓學生探索和思考人生的意義，有助推動其全面發展。
大部分學生對自己的學習成果表示滿意，師生間也建立了深厚的情誼。參與者均很期待下一次英語營。
